    At STOCKHOLM NATURE, we take pride in delivering the best possible experience for our customers. We are so confident in the quality of our tours, that we offer a money-back satisfaction guarantee to our customers. We stand behind our tours and are committed to providing you with a memorable and enjoyable experience. Our satisfaction guarantee is just one way we demonstrate our commitment to your satisfaction. Here's how it works: If you're unsatisfied with your experience, please inform your guide directly after the tour about any complaints. We take customer feedback seriously and will do our best to address your concerns as quickly as possible. We will also reach out to you directly to work towards a solution. If we can't solve your complaint, we will pay you back in full (takes approx. 6-10days). Please note that we will check each complaint individually. In case your complain is based on common reasoning, we will pay you back in full. That said, we are not going to pay you back for reasons that aren't in our hands or aren't from common sense (e.g. you book a kayak tour but don't like kayaking etc. pp).   • How fit do I need to be to perform the tour?
    All our day trips are open for everyone to join, regarding less of their fitness level. Our guides are used to adjust the speed and distance of each tour according to the needs of the group. For our overnight tours we believe you need a normal level of fitness. You have to be able to stay active over the amount of days the tour is running. Of course our guides will adjust speed and distance as needed for the group.
  • How can I change my booking?

  • What is your Cancellation Policy ?
    Our cancelation policy depends on the type of tour that you book with us. You can request the cancellation via link in your booking confirmation or via E-Mail to info@stockholmnature.com Day Tours No cancellation fee for cancellations up to 3 days prior to departure, within 3days of departure non-refundable. ​ Overnight Tours No cancellation fee for cancellations up to 7 days prior to departure, within 7 days of departure non-refundable. ​ Gift Vouchers Non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for money. Rentals: No cancellation fee for cancellations up to 3 days prior to departure, within 3days of departure non-refundable.
  • How long is the refund process?
    After cancellation, any amount owed to you will be refunded without delay, and within 3-10 days of the cancellation at the latest. If you have booked through a third party, you must contact that third-party regarding cancellation or potential refunds.
  • What about insurance in case of an accident?
    The booking price excludes all forms of insurance. It is your responsibility as a customer (participation) to secure adequate insurance coverage. We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance, particularly if you are booking an outdoor activity with us.
  • Where is the meeting point?
    The meeting point for each tour depends on the specific tour you have booked. You can find the meeting point location on your order confirmation email or on the tour page when you book. Please check this information carefully before the day of your tour.
  • What happens if I arrive late at the meeting point?
    Please understand the importance of being on time, as we have to respect the time of other guests. If you happen to be running late, we'll wait for a few minutes before moving on. However, we also need to respect the schedule for other participants, so timely departure may be necessary and no refund is being given to late-comers. Thank you for your cooperation!
  • Are there parking facilities available near the meeting point?
    Yes, you have the option to park your car on the street in front of the meeting point. However, please be aware that parking comes with a fee. You will have to download a parking app like EasyPark: https://www.easypark.com
  • What dietary choices or meal options do you offer?
    Certainly! We understand the significance of accommodating dietary restrictions and allergies. When booking your experience with us, we inquire about your specific requirements. Kindly respond to these questions during the booking process. Our meals are naturally vegetarian, but we're totally fine with providing options for vegan, gluten-free, or dairy-free preferences as well!
  • Do tours get cancelled due bad weather conditions?
    Rain isn't considered bad weather for us. We'll only cancel if the wind is too strong for kayaking or, occasionally, when hiking in the forest. Otherwise, our tours won't be canceled due to rain or other non-dangerous weather conditions.
  • How can I tip the tour guide?

  • What shoes are best for the hiking experience?
    For your comfort and safety, we suggest opting for quality hiking shoes with good grip and ankle support. If you don't have hiking shoes, a pair of sturdy walking shoes (sneakers) with good grip will do just fine. All hiking tours offer a moderate pace and approx. 10km distance. We take breaks as needed to adjust the pace to match the group's abilities.
  • I'm new to kayaking. Can I still participate in your kayaking tours?
    Absolutely! We tailor the pace to suit the abilities of the group. Whether you're a first-timer or an experienced kayaker, you're welcome to join us. We provide a safety briefing and practical information before we embark on the kayaking adventure, ensuring you'll have an enjoyable day!
  • Should I use a single or tandem kayak?
    Single (solo) kayaks: This kayak type is ideal for experienced kayakers, allowing for greater maneuverability. However, this comes with more instability and a slower pace (more energy needed). Double (tandem) kayaks: Double kayaks are perfect for those who want to paddle with a partner in a stable kayak or for beginners, providing more stability and speed. By default, we choose double (tandem) kayaks. Please let us know in advance if you prefer single kayaks, and we'll do our best to accommodate your preference.
  • Where can I securely store my travel luggage?
    Archipelago Kayaking: We have no dedicated storage space for larger luggage (suitcases e.g. ). However, you can take smaller backpacks (daypacks) directly with you into the kayak (dry compartment). Otherwise, you can use one of the dedicated luggage box providers in Stockholm. Our Recommendation: Luggage Hero T-Centralen (click link) City-Kayaking: You can store your belongings directly at the kayak station but we do not take any responsibility for the luggage itself. Therefore, please take all valuables with you into the kayak (dry compartment / dry bag).
